Polyglyceryl Esters in Cosmetics: Prochimica Novarese at SKIN Summer School

Prochimica Novarese joined the 14th edition of SKIN Summer School in Pavia, dedicated to “Rethinking cosmetics: AI, process innovation, testing”.
Our Head of Cosmetics, Maximilian Zavatteri, delivered a lecture on “Polyglyceryl Esters in Cosmetics: a versatile formulation platform for replacing legacy surfactant technologies”.

His talk explored:

• The role of polyglyceryl esters as multifunctional non-ionic surfactants
• PEG-free formulation opportunities based on renewable feedstocks
• How chemical structure impacts HLB, O/W emulsion stability, texture and mildness
• Application potential in skin care, cleansing, sun care and make-up
